1115 Polett Walk, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Our Pennsylvania team hosted a panel discussion on climate change, national security and global health at Temple University. The panel featured Bettina Escauriza, an indigenous peoples activist; Dr. Jessica Dimka, professor of biological anthropology; and Rami Basatneh, a student activist who spoke about the influence of climate and drought on the Syrian Civil War. More than 30 students attended the event, which we hosted in partnership with the Temple University Global Studies program and Temple Refugee Outreach.
