Defend Our Future Ohio, local brewers and Ohio University professors hosted Defend Our Beer at Jackie O’s Brewery in Athens. Art Oestrike and Sean White, respective owners Jackie O’s and Little Fish Brewing Company, spoke about their companies’ efforts to reduce their environmental impacts, including using ingredients from local farmers. OU environmental and plant biology professor Rebecca Snell said that warming temperatures and drought threaten the quality and yield of ingredients necessary for producing great tasting beer.
