Defend Our Future, Sachamama, and local and campus organizations are hosting the Climate Innovation Lab (CIL) at the Auraria Campus in Denver on March 29th. The CIL is designed to empower young people, especially young Latinos, and help develop their skills to become even better advocates for climate action in their communities. The Lab will focus on local impacts and solutions to environmental challenges and features a Climate Solutions Panel and breakout sessions on writing letters to the editor, using social media to amplify our messages and meeting with your elected representatives. Opportunities for networking will conclude the event. A vegetarian food option will be provided.
