The Colorado team held their first event of the spring semester, “Defend Our Bees” which attracted more than 50 students and members of the Ft. Collins community. They heard about bees’ role as an indicator species and the impact of climate change on their health from representatives of the Northern Colorado Beekeeper Association, Nature in the City, People and Pollinators Action Network and Boulder County Beekeepers Association. The event was moderated by our intern, Rachel Melton.
