More than 30 students and community members attended our first Defend Our Wildlife event at UNLV. The panel featured a conversation on the importance of enforcing environmental safeguards to protect Nevada wildlife from climate change. Speakers included two UNLV wildlife biology professors, a representative from Friends of Nevada Wilderness and a local wildlife biologist. Our organizer, Georgi Schultz, moderated the discussion.
