Defend teamed up with EDF and 350.org outside EPA headquarters to spread the word about the danger Scott Pruit poses to the agency he has been tapped to lead. Our messages of protecting public health from Pruitt and his polluter allies were projected on the front of the building. EDF’s digital team livestreamed the event on Facebook while inquiring passersby took photos and voiced their solidarity. Finally, #PollutingPruitt – a video that includes on-the-scene footage of Alicia – can be viewed on our Facebook page. Our tweet amplifying the video received more than 250,000 views, nearly 500 retweets and 1,000 ‘likes.’
