On a cold Tuesday morning, Defend Our Future joined Moms Clean Air Force, Green Latinos, Hip Hop Caucus, Franciscan Action Network, Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and others for a rally ahead of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s testimony before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Our supporters and allies called on Pruitt to stand up for our health and the environment and not the corporate polluters that benefit from the rolling back of safeguards. Ranking Member Senator Tom Carper shook hands with several members of the group as he headed to the hearing.
