Defend Our Future Pennsylvania invites you to a stand up press conference calling on young people to #VoteClimate. We will be highlighting the voices of elected officials, voting experts, and student leaders on the subject of youth voting and using the vote as a tool to fight climate change.

In the past year we have seen more than ever the oncoming implications of inaction on climate change. Without leadership that is committed to Climate Action, we will be left to weather the oncoming disasters that it will inevitably bring with it.

Meanwhile, America’s largest generation votes at an alarmingly low rate. With 85% of Millennial’s believing that climate change is a problem that demands immediate action, only 20% voted during the 2014 midterm elections. That is why now, more than ever, it is essential that young people stand up and cast their vote for climate action.
