Hello everyone! My name is Monica Nerz and I am a new intern here at Defend Our Future. This past May, I graduated from Temple University with a major in Political Science. I have always been passionate about the environment, but after joining Defend Our Future at Temple, my passion for the environment amplified even more. Being a part of Defend Our Future was incredibly rewarding in that it inspired young people to get involved throughout the voting process, while also educating them on devastating environmental issues taking place around the world. Now more than ever, it is crucial to engage younger voting bases in order to protect the imminent future. I am incredibly excited for what opportunities this internship will bring and the experiences that lie ahead here at Defend Our Future.
