The United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that the meat industry generates nearly one-fifth of manmade greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the chemicals that modern meat production rely on work their way into the animals we eat and our water supply, causing unprecedented human health problems.
