On May 23rd, we hosted a breakfast panel in Miami featuring prominent Republican supporters of climate action: Representative Carlos Curbelo, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa. Curbelo spoke about his work in Congress, including the founding of the bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus, to address climate change and rising sea levels, which are already having a disproportionate impact on South Florida communities. Our partners for the event were the Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Nature Conservancy and the Florida International University Sea Level Solutions Center.
