The Ohio team’s first EPA Spotlight event, “Defend Our Science,” featured remarks by four Ohio State University professors including Dr. Robyn Wilson, who until recently served on EPA’s Science Advisory Board. Wilson and her colleagues spoke about their passion for research and defending scientific integrity. Wilson discussed her lawsuit against Scott Pruitt, who requested that she and others resign over the outrageous claim that recipients of EPA grants have a conflict of interest and therefore should not be able to serve on the advisory board. The professors shared their concerns that attacks on science were having a negative impact on the development of sound public policy.
