On April 25th, our Arizona team hosted an EPA Spotlight press conference at Pedal Haus Brewery in Tempe. The event covered the impact climate change is having on the craft beer industry, the integral role breweries play in their communities, and how Scott Pruitt is hampering the EPA’s ability to protect clean water. Speakers who participated in the event included Tempe City Councilwoman Lauren Kuby, Arizona Water Conservation Board Member Ben Graff, ASU sustainability professor and Salt River Project board member Paul Hirt, and Pedal Haus Brewery co-owner Derek “Doc” Osborne. Local radio station, KTAR, covered the event.
